Great. We hope that you’ll enter it into the Open Ventures Challenge. When you add your idea we ask that you enter a summary of it and choose if you’d like it to be open or closed.

Open ideas

Open ideas are open to be viewed by the whole Open Ventures community. They will be able to comment and give advice on how to make your idea better. You should also be aware that by creating an open idea, if the idea isn’t selected by Cancer Research UK, then anyone in or outside of the community will be able to use the idea.

Closed ideas

If you don’t want to show your idea to the world then you can create a closed idea where only those that you invite will be able to see it, so that you can control access. The OVC judges will be able to read it but if it is not selected as part of a winning entry then it will remain yours and yours alone.

How do I enter my idea?

First you need to sign up to the Open Ventures community, and then you can post your idea.
