mo.jo is about enabling anyone to create new ventures through collaboration.

New ventures include traditional businesses or social enterprises, citizen action groups or non-profit organisations, products and services or music and movies: they all create something new and can lead to lasting change.

Lasting change occurs when hard problems are solved.  Hard problems become easy when the right combination of insights, knowledge and abilities are brought together.  Nobody has found a way to accurately predict how and when this happens.

We hope to make hard problems become easy by creating an environment where people can contribute, to the best of their abilities, as much or as little as they are willing.

Lasting change can also affect a lot of people.  We think it is only right that those people should be able to participate in these changes.  Effective participation depends on opportunity and ability.

We hope that the Open Ventures community will give people the opportunity to participate in venture creation.
