We are looking to find and support ventures with the potential to generate £10m to help Cancer Research UK beat cancer. It sounds so simple to say that, but spotting ideas that can do this is very hard. We know that we will not do this perfectly. But we have to try.

The Cancer Research UK Radical Innovation team has identified characteristics that are displayed by ventures that can do this. The criteria cover questions such as: what makes the venture new and inspiring; what is the venture’s business case; how will the venture sustain itself; and how feasible is the venture plan. To help all community members develop their venture plans, here is a copy of the OVC Judging Criteria and Questions.

We know this is a long list of questions and criteria and in all honesty it’s probably impossible to have definite answers to all of them. We know this. However, we do hope that entries will be able to demonstrate as many of the criteria as possible, as strongly as possible.
